Pressure Drop

Poem
By Geoffrey Krawczyk

I read the words
almost daily
and conjure up
scenarios
that never seem
to be.

I read the words
and never know
what I'm supposed
to feel.

I read the words
and see the writing
on the wall.

I read the words
and always feel
the pressure drop.

As if a hurricane is blowing from my mouth.

I'll pass away and never understand
why the pressure doesn't stop.

I read the words
and meditate
on comments
that never come
anymore.
